Aaron Siskind was born December 4,1903 he was known to be involved with

abstract expressionist. In his autobiography, he wrote that he received a camera

as a wedding gift took from then on . He was part of a group of New York that
was called photo league. Among them the most popular photos they have made
were the Harlem document. Before he was a grade school English teacher but
after he meet harry Callahan he persuaded Aaron to be part of IIt institute of
design in Chicago. There he taught for the rest of his life in Rhode islands school
of design in his 60-year career.
He then later died on February 8,1991.

I like this picture because to me they express emotion especially since its black
and with maybe they are trying to express how the world fells and they use these
real images of places they find as that.
