Rhetorical Analysis We chose this website in particular due to the ample amount of information that it
Proposal Memo gives on pets in the community. Our concern for animals is shown as each one of us
cares for pets of our own. The education aspect of this website allows not only us but
the community to learn ways on how to take care of new pets.

Audience:

Primary- Our primary audience consists of our fellow classmates and peers.

Secondary- Our secondary audience consists of anyone who is going to view the
website.

Purpose: Our primary purpose for our website will be to inform the audience about the
content so that they may apply the information to their lives. Another will be to
persuade our audience to take advantage of the benefits that are being offered to
them. Our ability to analyze the website will be done by using the appeals of ethos,
pathos, and logos.

Genre: Our genres include a memo, analysis, and an oral presentation. There will be
ways in which each of these categories will be organized throughout the process to
ensure organization within the project.

Stance: Our stance will be an objective stance towards the topic. We will collaborate
as a group to form our viewpoint on the topic at hand. Due to the academic
environment, we will take into consideration the limits of our stance on the matter.

Media/Design: The media that we will be using will be relevant to what is accessible
today. There will also be verbal and nonverbal aspects included as well as having a
print medium of paper. It will make use of internet resources that will enhance the
overall experience for the audience. Concerning design, we will incorporate various
types of designs such as using charts, shapes, labels, topical design, and purposeful
coloration.
