Comments

Goals are clearly laidout in the syllabus. They are specific

and measurable.
Great job with approproate assignments for the adult
learners this class is targeted at. Each module has
sufficient content as well as guiding questions to fram the
lesson.
The class is asked to introduce themselves via the
discussion tool.

The syllabus is easly found in module one and includes

most of the required items. It is missing the honesty
policies and the nature of distance learning.
The course requirements are cleaerly stated in the
syllabus and are consistent with objectives. The scope of
the course is available at a glance in the syllabus under
"activities"
The Syllabus provides the instructgor's contact
information and details the best way to contact her for
urgent issues.

There are no minumum technology requirements listed

that I can find. And in the syllabus, the required resources
section states readings will be provided in "CourseDen"
with no explinationas to what CourseDen is or how to
access it. The prerequisites are addressed, however.

There are no expectations set forth about academic

integrity, plagiarism or netiquette.
A fun and interesting introduction is provided in the
discussion Forum

There are no privacy policies noted in the course.

what to do first, but the syllabus was missing a few items from this

Comments

The course includes a variety of ways to learn and master

the information

The course is very organized with information grouped in

to subject areas/modules and provides an overview to
each module including objectives.
The coure has several required activites that provide
students with multiple ways of learning such as blogging
and discusion postings

There are multiple learning paths that include discussions,

readings, and reviewing videos to engage students in a
variety of ways.

I like that this course is structured to include an

investigation section to provide opportunities for students
to engage in higher-order thinking.

The class is converstational and informal which is

completely appropriate for the submject matter and target
audience.

While I see many opportunites for student to student

interaction, the interaction between teacher and student is
limited. Althoug I can see the teacher participating in the
weekly discussions to facilitate this standard.

The discussion and blog requirements are required ealy

and often to ensure the evaluation of progress.

While there ois lots of interaction between students, it is

not totally clear when the instructor will interact with the
students.
Each activity is written with great care and detail.
The additional resources are well thought out and filled
with rich content.

perience of the learners.

Comments

The assessments in this course are representative of the

scope of the course and are consistent with the
objectives.
The course structure (objectives, What do you already
know, content and guiding questions) make the
assessment procedures in line with being able to assess
students effectively.

The assessments are frequent enough and appropriate to

both the age group and content of the course.

Because the assesments are frequent, students can keep

up with their progress easily
While the blog posts and discussions are appropriate,
they seem to be the only methods of assessment. More
variety is needed here to accommodate different learning
styles.

The grading policy is clealy stated and easy to understand

via the module overview, syllabus and grade book.

o accommodate different learning styles. For example, instead of a

ssessment methodology.

Comments

The course is limited by the LMS to customize navigation,

so based on what the LMS provides it is sufficient.

The course appears to be complete

All links are fuctional

While it is obvous what is required, the optional and
required resources are not clearly labeled.

Videos and text-based materials are both provided.

The tools used are appropriate for the course.

ed" or optional" resources.

ck
he Weebly component was well integrated as a blog and provided
making and learn from one another. That is a key point in adult
