ABSTRACT
The purpose of this action research is to identify wether implementation of i-Think circle map can
increase the performance and interest of year four pupil in topic Human Life Process. A total of 10
students from Year 4 of one of the schools in Gelugor comprised of five males and five females
were selected based on the poor results in Science in Assessment Test 1. This research was
carried out for ten weeks. The instruments used to collect the data were diagnostic test,
questionnaires, interviews and observations. The diagnostic test were analysed quantitatively by
calculating both percentage dan mean. The data was then presented in the form of tables and
graphs. Data for the questionnaires was also analysed quantitatively by calculating frequency,
percentage and mean for each item. The data from an interview was analysed qualitatively and
the data of observation was analysed quantitatively. The min score for diagnostic test was 76
percent compared to Assessment Test 1 which is 61.8 percent. Data from both questionnaires
dan interview shows that majority of students agreed that the i-Think circle map help in increasing
their performance and interest in topic Human Life Process. Data from observations shows
positive behaviors of students upon implementation of i-Think circle map in topic Human Life
Process. As a follow up action, i-Think circle map method can be applied for some other topics to
