To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to highly recommend Michelle Ciletti for a teaching position at your school. I have
known Michelle for about seven years. I had her daughter in my second-grade classroom,
where she was a volunteer. She also served as a paraprofessional at Coyote Hills and a Health
Technician at Pine Ridge. Michelle then decided to pursue her calling as an educator. She has
been a very consistent and busy substitute over the last three years serving both short and
long-term positions.

While working with Michelle as a substitute, and while she completed hours for her teaching
license, it was evident that she could always take a difficult concept and make them very
understandable for her students. She demonstrated excellent planning and preparation for all
her students. The lessons and activities that she developed were well thought-out and were at
an appropriate level for the students. Her lessons have all been developed to follow the
standards. Michelle engages all of her students in lessons being taught and has developed
assessments to enable her to monitor student learning so that her teaching can be adjusted as
needed.

Mrs. Ciletti treats all students, parents and co-workers with respect. She can differentiate her
teaching in such a way that she has developed excellent management techniques. A great area
of strength for Michelle is her rapport she builds with students and her attitude is always
positive. It is clear that she has a strong desire to work with and teach young people. Michelle
is innovative with her technology and helps students with different learning styles, achieve their
full potential.

I am so excited that Michelle has chosen education as her profession. I believe in her potential
to make a difference in the lives of all her students. Please consider Mrs. Ciletti for a position at
your school and know that I will be glad to speak to you further about Michelles teaching skills.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Holland Reifman

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

It is my pleasure to recommend Michelle Ciletti (Andrea Ciletti) as a teacher in

your school. I was blessed with the opportunity to experience Michelles passion
for and expertise in teaching starting in August 2012. My son was in the
kindergarten class where Michelle served as a teachers assistant at Coyote Hills
Elementary School in the Cherry Creek School District. Michelle was a gift to the
profession and my child.

The tasks designated to Michelle were not tasks normally assigned to a teaching
assistant. While she did monitor the kids during line-up in the morning and take
them outside for recess, it was Michelle who was primarily responsible for
reading one-on-one with each child a couple of times each week. As a reading
teacher and reading staff developer myself, I always noticed the manner in which
Michelle hosted these mini-conferences. While students read, she consistently
demonstrated patience and guided children to decode and make meaning. As she
honed her skills, it became her responsibility to decide which books were
appropriate for students to practice in the coming week. This involved knowing
when to continue work at a particular level, and when to push students to the
next reading level. She did not stick to a scripted curriculum, but instead adapted
lessons/levels to meet each students strengths and weaknesses. She knew what
her students were capable of, encouraged them to go deeper, and even cheered
their efforts when they tried and failed.

During any and all class projects, independent work time, and group tasks,
Michelle was a consistent extra set of hands. Without ever being prompted by
the teacher, Michelle took it upon herself to float between groups and individuals
offering compliments, feedback, support, and redirection as needed. The
classroom consistently ran better when Michelle was a part of it.
The year that my son was in kindergarten was certainly the roughest of his
academic career so far. When the year began, Michelle was teacher assist to a
young teacher that the children adored. However, in October, the teachers
family moved out of state and a new teacher was brought in. The transition was
so difficult for the kindergarteners to understand and accept. I clearly remember
the first day with the new teacher. Many of the kids were upset and crying. I am
confident that many of them could not have been pulled from their mothers legs
and into the classroom had a calm, patient, loving, and smiling Mrs. Ciletti not
been there to greet them. As the year continued, it became evident that the new
teacher did not meet the expectations of the administration or parent
community. Her manner was harsh with the kindergartners. At that time, many
kids were upset about school and scared to attend. I know I speak for many
moms that year when I say that I know the only reason our kids went, and the
only reason we allowed our children to go, was because Mrs. Ciletti was there.
We knew shed comfort them, make them feel safe, look out for them, and push
them academically while holding tight to their hearts. Michelle Ciletti was in a
tremendously difficult and, Im sure, uncomfortable position that year. Yet, even
in the hardest circumstance, she shined.

Michelle exhibits numerous innate traits of an exceptional teacher. Her

disposition with students is second to none. She runs a tight ship and has very
high expectations for students behavior and academic work ethic. She will not
tolerate interruptions to learning or students performing below their capabilities.
Yet, the manner in which she maintains these standards is uniquely her own. She
is incredibly tender with her students. I imagine that as a classroom teacher, she
would model the crucial principle that it is a teachers job to teach children, not
subjects.

In summary, Michelle displays the qualities that make a teacher successful, and
she is a teacher I would love to see at the front of my childrens classrooms. I
highly recommend Michelle for a teaching position in your school. I am certain
that her addition to your school will enrich the lives of the children lucky enough
to be a part of her classroom.

Please feel free to call me for further information or if you have any questions.
Sincerely,

Kathryn Wells
