Version 7.7.7
Products Affected:
iNetVu 7710 Main Controller and 7720 Remote Drive Module (installed on Mount)

The New Firmware & Software along with the state of the art ACU and Platforms, allow for
simultaneous movement on multiple axis thus finding satellite faster and with better accuracy.

C-COM has unveiled the new iNetVu NAV COMPASS and iNetVu GPS COMPASS devices. This
Firmware/Software release will include full support for the new hardware.

Firmware Updates:

7.7.7.0 Newly Added:

Movement protection The system will stow automatically when operator drives off and the
platform is still deployed with the ACU powered. Change of GPS coordinates along with GPS
speed will trigger satellite antenna to stow.

Added feature Read Carrier From modem for HNS_KU service. The DVB settings will be read
and populated automatically when this feature is enabled.

Configuring the HNS_KU modem parameters will not be required as the configurations will be
read from the modem at all types, this feature is not configurable.

7.7.7.0 Modifications & Fixes:

The stow routine was improved to provide better protection on mounts that have the AWAY
limit sensor.

Satellite Peaking with DVB+MODEM configuration will start only when the modem signal is
acquired.

The WEB GUI interface is compatible with/supports browsers up to IE 11.0, MS Edge, Google
Chrome 53.0, Firefox 51.0, and Safari on MAC.

Release Notes 7.7.7
Modified the quadratic peaking threshold to allow user to select between angle based and
quadratic peaking routine. Quadratic peaking will not start until Es/No value reaches above the
set threshold, otherwise peaking will be angle based.

Fixed STM GPS East/West bug, the longitude was getting flipped to opposite setting.

The running and configured parameters on any operation will be updated to be the same on any
Beam related changes.

The Controller IP will remain the same and not change during modem service switch/change.

Configuration Data will not get updated when NIC RESET occurs.

Changed A1207A Platform to A1205C Platform.

iNetVu NAV COMPASS reading will be taking at EL = 15 degrees on A1205A/B Platforms.

Reference satellite option will be prevented from reading configuration parameters from
modem on the following: HT1300, Newtec, Gilat Capricorn-4, iDirect and HNS services. Feature
will be revisited in future release.

The WEB GUI interface now supports browsers up to and including the following: IE 11.0, MS
Edge 38.1, Google Chrome 53.0, Firefox 51.0, and Safari 10.1 on MAC.

New Supported Platforms in this Release (Engineering Model/Marketing Name):

A1205C/1202 1.2m SG REFL, 3 Axis, Drive-Away Ku Band

New Supported Modems & Services Features:

**Refer to the 7710 Controller Manual for a complete list of supported modems

Support for DATUM modem added

Support for STM modem

Support for Novelsat NS3000 modem added

Boot Loader Version 7.7.7.0

Fixes Firmware updating ability via WEB GUI interface for Safari on MAC, other browsers work
fine.

Release Notes 7.7.7
Application Updates:
The 7710 Central Controller application maintained its robust user friendly features. Additions were
added to support a wider range of services and platforms as well as new enhancements allowing the
user reduced interaction in configuring and setting up the service and satellite search parameters.

Software Updates (Application):

GPS COMPASS fields are added on Configuration Interface window. The two parameters are
Ant Separation used to set the distance between the two GPS Antennas and the Heading
Bias used for the Compass orientation.

GPS COMPASS fields will be disabled when GPS COMPASS device not used or connected.

Added Ant Separation distance (CSD) and Heading Bias (CHB) for GPS COMPASS in the
history log file.

The Dual Beam Search and Auto Start features for iDirect service are only available when
Read Carrier From Modem is enabled.

The Auto Start feature only available for Dual Beam Search and the
Dual Beam Search must be enabled to enable the Auto Start.

Added Read Carrier From Modem for HNS KU service based on configured DVB search
parameters. DVB and Satellite parameters will be auto filled from modem configuration file.

HNS Frequency, Symbol Rate, DVB Type, 22K tone and Polarity under the Modem Configuration
section will be read only as these will be automatically populated at all times.

Automatically switch and set the Controller COM Port interface to the same setting as the
Modem Interface and synchronize serial baud rate.

Setting the Modem Interface to COM will switch Controller COM port
interface to Modem and set the Baud Rate to be the same when
communication is changed to serial interface.

Setting the Modem Interface to TCP, HTTP, UDP or AMIP will switch
Controller COM port interface back to Debug

Display the current running Satellite Longitude along with current Modem Beam ID which were
read from the Modem under the Target Search parameters on the Controls Interface window.

3
Release Notes 7.7.7
The current Beam will switch to the configured Target Satellite Beam on the Maintenance
Interface after controller reboots except for iDirect modem. The active beam will always be the
first in the Modem Beam list.

Disabling TX Protection will disable and gray out the Unattended feature in the Operation Mode
section. In the previous version, the Unattended field was not disabled with TX Protection.

Added iNetVu NAV COMPASS calibration button Enable CP Calibration and save compass
calibration data button Save CP Calibration Data on the Maintenance Interface.

The Enable CP Calibration button will be disabled and the Save CP Calibration Data button
will be replaced with Manual CP CAL function button when CMPS10 compass type is detected.

iNetVu NAV COMPASS status displayed on Controls under Compass Heading and in History Log.

- (0) Normal operation mode

- (1) Compass calibration mode, error rate of compass reading/data > 7%

- (3) Compass calibration mode, error rate of compass reading/data 7%

Added iNetVu NAV COMPASS, Type, Firmware, Bootloader, Operation Mode, Revision and Serial
Number information in the About Interface Window & Log File.

Added Enable CP Calibration, Disable CP Calibration, and Save CP Calibration Data to the
system status bar on Controls Interface.

Compass Offset field name changed to Target AZ Offset.

Synchronized the Modem Beam ID in Configuration Interface window with Target Satellite on
Controls Interface window.

Configuration of satellite DVB parameters for Gilat SkyEdge II modem are now possible with
COM interface option.

Added GPS Valid (V), Invalid (I) indicators into history log and GPS INVALID status on Controls
Interface.
