Majority of teachers at our school dont utilize
UCAT in the teaching process simply because they
dont know how to use this powerful tool.

The teachers express their desire to learn about

UCAT since this will assist in solving many
educational problems and aid in achieving their
goals
 Target Audience

qAge range between 30 and 80 years old

q60% females and 40% males

qThe audience is foreign language instructors teaching

Levantine dialect at DLIFLC.

qThe audience is originally either from Lebanon, Syria,

Jordan, Iraq or Palestine

 UCAT Training Website trains foreign language
teachers into how to utilize and implement UCAT in
teaching the second language.
 UCAT Training Website includes four lessons:

First Lesson : UCAT terminology

Second Lesson : Creating Listening and FLO activities on UCAT
Third Lesson : Creating Reading activities on UCAT
Fourth Lesson : Develop and Design lesson on UCAT
Evaluation

Each Lesson Includes practice in the form of true or false, multiple choice, drag and drop
,and matching questions and formative evaluation to test foreign language teachers
understanding of each lesson contents

Principles utilized in this project are :

Coherence Principle: UCAT training website lessons include

multimedia presentation which exclude extraneous words, pictures, and
sounds
Modality Principle: All lessons are explained by audio narration and on-
screen text
Segmenting Principle: Lessons concepts are divided into small
segments for better understanding
Redundancy Principle: Animation and narration are utilized in this
website lessons
Contiguity Principle: this principle is utilized to explain effectively the
graphics and images present on the lessons

Multimedia Principle: Words and graphics are both utilized at the same
time
I will develop the tutorial on :

* Wix, a leading cloud-based

development platform

* Adobe Captivate 9 is a rapid responsive

authoring tool that is used for creating e-
learning content
