One-Day International Seminar in English
Subject : FEMINISM AND CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH LITERATURE.
Its an immense pleasure to inform you that we are organizing One-Day International Seminar on
FEMINISM AND CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH LITERATURE on 19th March 2017.

We take pride in hosting this seminar and add new knowledge to the respective field of Feminism.
Our college is established in 1963, and has been performing at its best to impart academic knowledge. Our
institution holds reputation for being one of the best colleges in North-Karnataka for promoting quality
education, earnestly.

Feminism is one of the most dynamic disciplines in contemporary critical theory. Being a version of
Post-structuralism, that undertakes to deconstruct the opposition Man/Woman and gender inequality. It
seeks to establish equal opportunities for women in all fields of modern society, equally to men. Since
literature mirrors the society and its psyche, this seminar aims to provide a platform to evaluate feminist
voices in contemporary Literature and time.

Proposals for paper presentations are invited dealing with any of sub themes listed below-

1. Feminist ideologies
2. Feminism in Indian English Fiction
3. Feminist voices in contemporary Poetry
4. Identity in Fiction
5. Women writing in contemporary Literatures
6. Feminism and Diaspora
7. Any issues related to Feminism in New Literatures.

The abstract not exceeding 200 words, along with registration fees should reach to Dayanand
Salunke, A/C- 18012200073851, IFSC- SYNB0001801, Syndicate Bank, Koppal on or before 10th March
2017. The soft copy of abstract or full paper has to be sent to the following E-mail ID:
sginternationalseminar@gmail.com. The paper presented in the seminar are going to publish in the Journal of
ISBN Number.
