Title of Thesis : Phytochemical Investigation of Euphorbia, Pouzolzia and Pavetta
species from Kumaon Himalaya.

Experience:
Worked as Senior Research Fellow in the project entitled Development of pesticide
residue free IPM package of major vegetables in the Department of Natural
Resource Management at ICAR Laboratory Indian Institute of Vegetable Research,
Varanasi from 3rd oct 2001 to 30 March 2004 and my responsibilities were analysis of
pesticide residue in vegetable by HPLC, GLC and spectrophotometer.
Worked as Senior Research Fellow in the project entitled Development of technology
to minimize post harvest losses for enhancing export possibilities of tomato, okra
and cucumber in the Department of Natural Resource Management at ICAR
Laboratory Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi from 22 May 2003 to 10th
April 2004 and my responsibility are analysis biochemicals in vegetable.

Worked as Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled Dyanamics of biodiversity


in response to disturbance gradient in forest of Kumaun Himalyas in the
Department of Natural Resource Management at G. B. Pant Institute of Himalayas
Environment and Development, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora from 7 Oct 2005 to 15 Dec
2005 and my responsibility are analysis minerals in plants and soils.
Presently work as PGT Chemistry lecturer Uttarakhand govt. School Gic Garakha
Pithoragarh from 27 May 2006 to continue.

Knowledge of handling GLC, GCMS, LCMS, ASS, UV, HPLC and FTIR.

Training/Workshop:

Participated in seventeen days training on High performance Liquid Chromatograph


(HPLC) and Gas Liquid Chromatograph (GLC) at Defense Research and
Development Organization Laboratory Defense Agriculture research Laboratory,
Pithoragarh from 8th April to 24th April 2002.
Participated in ten days basic training on Basics of pesticide residue analysis in
vegetables and fruits at ICAR Laboratory Indian Institute of Horticulture Research,
(IIHR), Hessaraghatta, Bangalore from 15th -25th November 2002.
Participated in training on Plastic Recycling by Udyamita Vikas Sansthan, Uttar
Pradesh, Lucknow haled at Pithoragarh from 17 Feb to 30 March 1997 and gain third
position.
Participated in National Workshop on Global promotion of traditional medicine in
view of Institute-Industry relationship by Department of Science and Technology, at
faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
on 8th and 9th November 2002.
Participated in a workshop on Paryavaran Jagarukta Abhiyan by Madhya Himalya
Payravaran Sanshathan held at K. U. - Nainital on 28th May 1997 and secured second
position.
