While working for Barry Electric a few years back, I had the opportunity to work on your beautiful campus doing
dorm remodeling and installation of the fire alarm system. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the professionalism I
experienced, both with the students and faculty and Ive always hoped to have that opportunity afforded again.

While scanning through the University staffing changes and employment opportunities yesterday, I happened to notice
a current opening in your department for a Journeyman Electrician. After going through the position summary
description, I feel my particular skills and experience are a glove tight fit for this position and I can be a valuable
asset to your team.

My commercial job experience is filled with maintenance/remodel jobs, including time spent on this very campus. I
have supervised up to five other employees, deciphered building plans and prints, dealt with both the public and upper
management, worked in conjunction with other trades, and I have extensive experience with all types of PLCs and
lighting control panels.
