Abstract
We are going to study the supply chain on the fauji cereal company and then we will try to find out their
key performance indication .This will tell us about the strength and weakness in their supply chain. We
have selected this company as this is one of the best manufacturing company with the vast rage of
supply chain and manufacturing and distribution channel. We will analyse the all key aspects in the
supply chain of the supply chain and then refers best practices in their supply chain process.

About the Company

Fauji Cereals was established in 1954, a fully owned Project of Fauji Foundation and started trial production initially
in collaboration with Quaker Oats England in 1956. It is the pioneer commercial venture of Fauji Foundation. It is
the major producer of breakfast cereals in Pakistan with wide range of products. It is Pakistans most prestigious
and biggest cereal processing unit, having the latest modernized machinery, highly hygienic environments for
production of Halal Food Products. The Company enjoys over 80% of the market share in the category of Breakfast
Cereals and Porridge Food Products. The fiscal year adopted by the company is from September to October.

Purpose of the study

The purpose of the study is to toughly study the supply chain process of the company and then find the weakness
in the process of the supply chain and find more opportunism to make the process in a better and effective manner.

Key performance indication

The company highly focus on the quality and time of the product. The quality of the products is maintained
through two packing material that is primary packing and the secondary packing. The primary packing helps the
products save from the humid and moisture. The time is control through the purchase of the best quality seeds or
production at the best seasonal time and then store in the warehouse for the continuous flow of raw material

Distribution Areas
The company have a manufacturing plant in the Rawalpindi. Where all the production is done and then
transfer to the rest of the country. The major areas of distribution are Rawalpindi Lahore and Karachi .The
transportation is made through trucks and train for Karachi. In Karachi they have a warehouse which helps for the
flow of products on time.
