KIM GUADAGNO: MY MESSAGE TO NJ GUN OWNERS

T
his years gubernatorial election may not make front
page news every day, but it will have a big impact on law
enforcement, sportsmen and women and New Jerseys
law-abiding gun owners for decades to come. With the tragic
events of Las Vegas still fresh in our minds, now more than ever,
the rights of law-abiding citizens enshrined in
the Constitution must be protected.
As the NRA-endorsed candidate for
New Jersey governor, I am a strong supporter
of the Second Amendment and preserving
New Jerseys hunting and fishing tradition. I
served as the first female sheriff of Monmouth
County, and as governor I will be a much-
needed check and balance on our states out-
of-control state legislature.
My opponent, Phil Murphy, would
virtually shut New Jersey down for law-abiding
gun owners and decimate the hunting and fishing community if
elected governor. Even though New Jersey has the third strictest
gun laws in the country, Phil Murphy has promised he would
sign every piece of gun control legislation vetoed by Governor
Christie the day he takes office. He has received an F from
the National Rifle Association and even promised to impose an
additional tax on all legal gun sales in New Jersey if elected.
As a former prosecutor and sheriff, I also know that Phil
Murphys plan to declare New Jersey a sanctuary state is
seriously misguided and would make New Jerseyans less safe.
By making New Jersey a sanctuary state, Phil Murphy is saying
he would rather protect dangerous criminals and murderers
than stand up for the law-abiding people of New Jersey.
He even went as far as saying he is biased
towards illegal immigrants who commit violent
crimes. If elected, I will oppose sanctuary cities
and ensure that law enforcement is able to do
its job to keep us safe.
Phil Murphys plan to raise taxes by $1.3
billion would be equally disastrous for New
Jersey. He has embraced everything from
higher tolls and MVC fees to income, sales,
business and property taxes. Instead, I will
audit all aspects of state government to save
hundreds of millions of dollars and use that
money to cut property taxes for the middle class. By capping
school taxes to 5% of household income, families across New
Jersey could save over $800 on average.
If you value the Second Amendment like I do and want
to make New Jersey a more affordable place to live, work and
raise a family, I humbly ask for your vote on November 7. As
governor, I will never stop working for the taxpayers of New
Jersey. n

he November general election for Governor is right
around the corner. What are you doing about it? If you
are not actively working to get Kim Guadagno elected
you might as well give up your guns and your wallet.
The Wall Street elitist, Phil Murphy, has promised to pass
all 21 regulations vetoed by Governor Chris Christie and I
doubt there is an anti-gun law that he doesnt like. Further,
he has already announced his intention to raise New Jerseys
already high taxes another unfathomable $1 billion.
The choice is clear: Support Republican candidate
Governor Kim Guadagno for Governor!
But why am I writing this to you? Too often I have heard that
Murphy is inevitable. NOT TRUE. The polls are narrowing. Some
believe Guadagno is soft on our 2nd Amendment rights. NOT
TRUE. Kim will fight for us and lower our taxes as well. TRUE!
But she cannot get there without our help. Each and every
one of us should do the following: Volunteer to help on her
campaign making phone calls, going door to door, picking up
campaign signs, sending a contribution, talking to our friends
and neighbors, and getting everyone out to vote in November.

in New Jerseys history to gun owners and all taxpayers. Go

GARDEN STATE GUNNERS JUNIOR SERVICE RIFLE TEAM

T
his summer we took a team of 14 juniors to Ohio to
compete in the 2017 National Matches at Camp Perry.
After a rigorous few days of training in the Marine
Corps Junior Rifle Clinic and Small Arms Firing School the
kids got busy cleaning targets (a clean target is shooting 100
out of a possible 100). Josh Bruner cleaned his offhand target
in the USMC Junior Clinic and Eric Voros shot a clean rapid
fire sitting in the Oliver Hazard Perry Match. Team Captain
Jessica Peoples had two consecutive days of outstanding
performances. First Jessica shot a clean rapid fire sitting target
in the Presidents 100 Match and then she repeated the magic
in the National Trophy Junior Team Match. Her target pullers
and officials in the pit cut out, signed and presented her with
her target. Garden State Gunners Gold placed 9th among the
juniors competing in the National Trophy Rifle Team Match

As the 2017 High Power season comes to a close wed sitting target at Camp Perry
like to thank all the volunteers and supporters who make our
team possible. Traveling to matches in NJ, PA and especially
Camp Perry, Ohio, takes a lot of help and coordination.
The team has been growing steadily each year and 2017 saw
our team grow larger yet again. We currently have 16 junior
service rifle shooters on the team. We are very grateful for
the support, encouragement and loaner equipment we get
from the membership and junior program at Central Jersey
Rifle and Pistol Club and the state team backing we receive
from ANJRPC. Garden State Gunners Junior Service Rifle is
currently made up of juniors from all over NJ and welcomes
juniors from any club and from any part of the state. If you
