Mountain Region
1. Mountains can have many different kinds of trees.Sometimes there is snow on
mountains.

Animals: Grizzly bear, california kingsnake,black bear,

rattlesnakes,bald eagle, mountain goat,

mountain lions and antelope

Plants:blackberries, raspberries, cherries, Blossom

Coast Region
1. Sandy beaches and warm surf exist only on the states southern most coast.

2. Most of californias coastal region is rocky with chilly water.

3. The california coast stretches for 1,264 miles from the oregon border in the
north to mexico in the south.

4.The mountain range that seprates the coastal region from the central valley is
called the Coastal Range

5.The sunny southern coast attracts people who prefer a warm climate.

Animals:sea lions ,otters trout, shark,lion fish,clams,sea snake, seagulls,parrot,
whale,parrot fish,starfish,bager,turtle,salamanders,eagles,dog whales .

Desert Region
1. There is a little rain fall in the desert region in california.

2. The desert region is full of sand and dirt.

3. The desert region can get really hot sometimes it can get up to 150 degrees.

4. The plants in the desert region can survive without water for days.

5.The desert region is cold outside.

Animals:tortoises,gila monster,big horned sheep,rattlesnakes,

Lizards,owls, sidewinders.

Plants: cactus, Joshua trees ,mexican poppies,

Wildflowers,cacti,weathered trees.

Valley Region
1. The valley region is very big it's in the middle of california

size.
3. It consists of two connected,differently named valleys,the sacramento valley
and the san Joaquin valley.
4. The central valley is 450 miles long.
5. The central valley has 18 California counties.

My opinion
My favorite Region is the Mountain Region because it is very pretty at night when
you camp.

When i'm in the mountain I like to go on hikes in the dark forest and look for
animals like deer,turkeys,bunnies,and lizards.

We also fish and catch rainbow trout.

We also go biking on winding bumpy trails.
