Candidates will complete five terms, including our
unique Integrated Core and two paid co-op work terms.
Our Centre for Co-operative Education works closely
with leading Canadian companies to consistently bring

Co-op candidates. To secure their co-op position, candidates
will apply and interview with these leading organizations.
Candidates in the co-op degree have the option to complete a
comprehensive MBA, or can complete one of 10 specialized

The Part-time Weekday Evenings MBA degree allows

place two nights a week from 7 p.m. to 9:50 p.m., year
round. Candidates will have the opportunity to complete
a comprehensive MBA degree, or one of 10 specialized
areas of study.
The degree is designed specifically for the working
professional. Candidates have the opportunity to increase
or decrease their workload from one to three courses per
term. As well, they have the option to take up to three terms
off anytime throughout the degree.

Open to all of our MBA candidates, the International Business Study elective is
a two-week trip providing the opportunity to experience first-hand todays evolving
global economy.
Increased globalization means business leaders must think and act in an international
context. As an MBA candidate participating on the study trip, you will experience the
implications of doing business outside of our domestic borders. This elective includes
participation in company tours and business meetings in the host country, giving you
valuable insight into the differences and similarities in culture, and their impact on
business decisions.
I highly recommend the international trip to gain direct exposure
to the complexity of conducting business in another country. You
will find the cultural subtleties enlightening and return to campus

All of our MBA candidates participate in the Not-for-Profit Practicum. Unique to our MBA
program, it is designed to provide you with the opportunity to experience management
issues within the volunteer community. You will achieve a renewed understanding of this
often overlooked segment of the global economy. You will gain an exciting awareness of
the potential for managerial and competitive involvement in the not-for-profit community.
You can choose to complete a 40-hour practicum with a local not-for-profit, or an extended
international project.
