Please be informed that the City of Redwood City has contracted
NATIONAL PLANT SERVICES, INC. to begin closed circuit
television (CCTV) inspection and cleaning of that purpose, of the
entire Redwood Shores sanitary sewer basins. is project is part
of the Citys Annual Sanitary Sewer CCTV Program. Inspection
began in October 2017 and should conclude in March 2018.
e scope of work for this project shall include cleaning of the
sanitary sewer pipelines, inspect manholes and sanitary sewer
mains using cameras to record visual data and provide CCTV
inspection reports that will be used by City sta to assess the
condition of the existing sanitary sewer mains.
e City and its contractor intend to conduct the work to
minimize the impact of inspection activity in your neighborhood,
although some inconvenience is unavoidable. Although not
expected, lane closures, detours and temporary parking restrictions
may occur during the inspection. All roadway users are asked to
be particularly cautious during inspection. e existing sanitary
sewer services will not be interrupted during the inspection period.
Regular working hours will be between 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.,
Monday through Friday. If necessary, and depending upon actual
field conditions, work may be performed at other hours during
holidays, o peak hours, at night or on weekends as directed and
approved by the City Engineer. No Parking signs will be posted
as needed, and trac control implemented during inspection.
Access to property will be maintained at all times for residents,
patrons, and emergency services.

At the very end of September, twenty-six members of the Redwood
Shores Tennis Club attended the annual getaway weekend to Pajaro
