Regional News Unit, All India Radio, Agartala requires need based short term contractual
work force in the following categories on consolidated/fixed remuneration.

Note:

1. Candidates residing in Agartala Municipal Corporation area only are eligible for applying for this
post.
2. Proficiency in Kokborok (name of the regional language) and translation from English to regional
language and vice versa is a must.
3. The shortlisted candidates for News Reader cum Translators would be required to undergo
interview and voice audition test.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for interview/test.
5. The contractual engagement will be purely on short term basis, will have no claim for
 regularization and terminable on one months notice from either side.
6. The consolidated/fixed remuneration will not attract any perks.
7. The persons engaged on full time basis will not be allowed to take any other assignment during the
period of contractual engagement.
8. Interested and eligible candidates may send their detailed Bio-data along with attested photocopies of
the documents in support of their claim on qualification and experience. Recent passport size colour
photograph should also be attached with the application.

10. Last date for the receipt of applications is May 31, 2017(or 15 days from the publication of
the advertisement).

12. Decision of Selection Committee will be final and no representation would be entertained on selection.
13. The engagement of the assignees is subject to Prasar Bharati OM No. A-10/ 159/09-PPC dated
27.09.2012 as amended from time to time. And NSD OM No 13(102)/RNU-15 dated 27.2.15
