SPECIFICATION

Symantec/Veritas NetBackup Licenses

1. Scope
This specification describes the requirements for Symantec/Veritas NetBackup
licenses.

2. New Licenses

4. Installation, Training and on-going Service Support


The Contractor shall:
4.1. Be a certified Symantec Netbackup reseller and a Platinum partner;
4.2. Retain Symantec Netbackup Platinum status certification throughout the
duration of the contract;
4.3. Provide a supporting account management structure, including:
4.3.1. One (1) account (sales) Manager;
4.3.2. One (1) engineering (support) Manager; and
4.3.3. Two (2) Symantec/Veritas Expert certified engineers who shall perform
all engineering services related to the infrastructure upgrade and
maintenance at the Agency.

4.4. Notify the IAEA of any changes to stated personnel aligned to the contract;
4.5. Be capable of offering Veritas certified training on the product;
4.6. Be capable of offering expert remote support with 24/7 telephone support;
4.7. Be capable of offering expert on-site support on-request;
4.7.1. On-site support will be initiated through an official Purchase Order
issued by the IAEA;
4.7.2. Each Purchase Order will contain elaborations, definitions and
deliverables as to the nature of a particular on-request service(s);
4.7.3. A man/day shall be defined as eight working hours, not including
meals or other breaks;
4.7.4. Work may be requested by the IAEA during normal business hours,
beyond normal business hours, or take place on Saturday, Sunday or
public holidays.
Note: The current normal maintenance windows are scheduled every
second Thursday from 19:30 22:00 and Saturdays from 08:00
20:00.
4.7.5. Engineering and Training services shall be provided within 10 working
days of receipt of a Purchase Order, unless agreed otherwise with IAEA
staff depending on schedules and urgency; and
4.7.6. After receiving a Purchase Order the Contractor shall provide a work
plan, schedule and number of days to be allocated to the service.
