Dear Mr. Rivas,

This is in relation to the checks you issued to our client MR. TOM CRUZ,
amounting to TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P200,000.00), using your
BDO Checking Account No. 0000123456, which unfortunately upon encashment
were unfunded and were dishonored due to: ACCOUNT CLOSED.

Demand is hereby made for you to pay the amount of TWO HUNDRED
THOUSAND PESOS (P200,000.00), the amount covering the said checks within
five (5)days from receipt of this letter. Otherwise, our client will be forced to take
legal action which we still want to avoid at this time.

We trust you will give this matter your urgent attention if you wish to avoid the
rigors of litigation.
