ABSTRACT

Background : Surgery Sectio Caesarea is the delivery of a fetus that has been able to live
(along with the placenta and membranes) by transabdominal through the uterine incision.
Mobilization exercises in post-surgical patients can maintain a state of homeostasis and
complications arising from the immobilisation can be minimized. The stronger the person's
motivation, the more quickly in obtaining goals and satisfaction. Motivation is closely
associated with knowledge. In this study the researchers will use health education methods
are used to improve the knowledge of someone that will be followed by a good motivation in
achieving a goal in Space Ruling District General Hospital dr. Abdul Azis.

Objective : To analyze the effect of health education on maternal motivation post sectio
caesarea perform early mobilization in Space Ruling District General Hospital dr. Abdul Aziz
in 2016.

Methods : The method used is the method of quantitative research design quasy experiment.
The approach method using pre and post studies without control. Analysis of data using
statistical test of Wilcoxon rank sum test. The sampling technique in the form of consecutive
sampling in patients with postoperative sectio caesarea with a sample of 21 respondents.
Instrument used in the form of questionnaires motivation.

Results : The effect of health education on maternal motivation produce P value of 0.001
with a significance value of 0.05. So the value of P <0.05 (Ha acceptable).

Conclusion : There was an effect on the motivation of health education mother post sectio
caesarea perform early mobilization In Space Ruling District General Hospital dr. Abdul Azis.

Suggest : For the nursing profession, the institution hospital, for patients after sectio
caesarea, and for the next researcher who has conducted research hopefully can be put to
good use for the provision of health services in the future.
