Editor, This election forced onto the australian people by a government that complained

about spending, a deficit crisis, calls this election costing millions because it couldn't get a
bill through the senate " the house of review ," this happens to be the role of the senate to
reject what they feel is not in the interest of ALL australians it should never be a rubber
stamp for government of the day.

But lets look at the rhetoric of this ultra conservative government sprouting the old tired
ideology of decades, "Traditional family values",what is it today a rejection of feminism, gay
rights, womens rights to control their own bodies ,then "Getting Goverments off the backs of
the People", that may be said often but very little is done in the way of tax reform or does
that really mean the removal of regulations that are there to protect us from corporate
abuse, "Freedom", "Free enterprise", "Free trade", "Level Playing Field" all sounds great IF
they really believed it, free trade that comes with monopolies tariffs, exclusive
contracts,government subsidies all contradict the the principles of free trade, "Personal
Freedom", only if you wish to follow the teaching of christ or any other religious bigots that
wish to deny you freedom of choice to do what is best for you eg:- who to love, how to
live, Freedom to vote, no one can possibly believe that voting makes any difference to what
the corporate world wishes to do, if it did do you think they would allow the great unwashed
to decide their future, even wars, no war since WW2 has been about defending our "freedom"
our culture, latest victims of capitalism Vietnam, Iraq ,Afghanistan never enemies, never a
threat, but huge profits for US armament & oil conglomerates.

The idea of a Free society is openness, the right to free speech and the right to think for
yourself, make your own decisions and decide your own future , great ideology but it fails by
restrictions on civil rights, abortion same sex marriage, by the action of this government they
are preventing these people the right to choose their own destiny simply implying that a
mythical god has decreed it is just not good enough ,or the Freedom you can have is the
Freedom some bigot decides thats best for you because its best for them, a governments role
is to do the greatest good for the greatest number,majority rule it may be but they must rule
for the benefit of all .i repeat for all, not party donors or party puppets .

"Trickle Down Economics" the greatest lie ever told , 64 people control more wealth than
half the worlds people, capitalism needs markets, needs consumers,needs growth, all to gain
ever increasing profits, this means moving into countries that may oppose capitalism, it
requires expolitation of their resources, its people, it requires cheap slave labour, it
requires more and more consumers hence products can't be repaired or only last a short time,
it needs technology changing yearly, what are we up to IPhone 100 , windows 10,
Technology improvements mean more is produced by fewer workers, thats the quandry for
capitalism & profits fewer workers & lower wages means less purchasing by poorer
consumers,soon many millions of people will be irrelevant, what then for them.

Then we have "Cutting Red Tape" in reality that means removing laws that hinder profits,
laws that are great for protecting the environment may even save the barrier reef or protect
natural forests but in this world of capitalism a tree has no value until it is cut down and
converted into timber,even a person has no value once you reach a certain age no matter what
is said about discrimination, nothing in the natural world has value until its converted into
something thats saleable .

Because growth is absolutely essential for increasing profits more resources must be found
and the day will come when the Earth will stop unless recycling is done in way so great that
this endless mindless production and mindless consumption can continue, but capitalism has
an answer for infinite resources and that is SPACE , the Universe with its millions of planets,
so the gold rush or resource race is on with Moon& Mars first ,the human race will conquer
the vastness of space will plunder its resources and it will take all of its bigotry, hatred, fear
of other cultures,war, religions, all the evils that exist today with it, but greed for greater
profits will be the driving force behind it all .
