Esteruna mujer con carcter firme

Ve y rene a todos los judos que se hallan en Susa, y ayunad por mi, y no comis, ni bebis en tres
das, noche da, yo tambin con mis doncellas ayunar igualmente, y entonces entrar a ver al rey,
aunque no sea conforme a la ley; y si perezco, que perezca (Ester4:16)

ster, este libro precioso en la Biblia nos trae increbles verdades y una de las cosas
que personalmente me impresiona, es el carcter y la personalidad de esta bella
jovencita.

Esta joven fue una muchachita hurfana que fue adoptada y criada por su to Mardoqueo.
Ella era temerosa de Dios y eso haca que ella fuese amada y querida por su to, amigos y
vecinos.

Un da, el rey necesitaba escoger a aquella que seria la Reina del Imperio. Para lograrlo, se
escoga un grupo de doncellas las cuales deban pasar por un periodo de preparacin antes
de ser presentadas ante el rey. De todas las doncellas, Ester, caus una buena impresin
en Hegai, el Eunuco, quien estaba a cargo de las mujeres. Cuando lleg el turno de Ester
para ser presentada ante el rey, este hombre le pregunt Qu atavo quera para
presentarse al rey? Y ella respondi, Lo que tu elijas darme (Ester 2:15). No es
impresionante esta respuesta? Qu es lo que demuestra Ester a travs de esta respuesta
que dio al Eunuco? Su respuesta nos muestra humildad y sencillez de corazn.

Lo contrario a la humildad es el orgullo. El orgullo no nos permite ver nuestros errores,

ms bien nos hacen ver exageradamente los errores de los dems, destruye reinos y
destruye familias tal como sucedi en esta historia con el rey Asuero y la reina Vasti. Vasti,
cegada por el orgullo pens que estaba por encima de cualquier cosa. El orgullo nos
enceguece. Cuidmonos de este pecado!

Qu valores o que caractersticas podemos aprender de Ester? Veamos:

1. Fue una mujer sabia, inteligente y sensata.

2. Fue una mujer valiente y no tuvo miedo a enfrentar las terribles dificultades
que estaba pasando en esos momentos, ella dijo: Si perezco que perezca
(Ester 4:16).
3. Ella se entreg sin reservas a una causa, para seguir la voluntad de Dios.
4. La nobleza de su carcter.
5. Su lenguaje sazonado de gracia y humildad
6. Su grandiosa fe en nuestro Dios.
7. Su deseo profundo de que la voluntad de Dios prevalezca

Preciosas mujeres, el mismo Dios de Ester es nuestro Dios, El tiene el poder y la gracia
para hacernos instrumentos preciosos, as como fue Ester. El mundo y nuestra sociedad
estn en las manos del diablo, el enemigo, quien decide el destino de estas personas; pero
Dios nos ha llamado para traer bendicin a toda una nacin. Nuestras familias y amigos
necesitan que Jesucristo el Seor venga a reinar en sus vidas y t y yo podemos ser ese
instrumento, as como lo fue esa joven valiente, Ester.

Esthera woman with a firm character
Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days,
night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it
is against the law. And if I perish, I perish." (Esther 4:16)

sther, this beautiful book in the Bible tells us incredible truths and one of the things
that impress me the most, is the character and personality of this beautiful young
woman. Esther was an orphan who was later adopted and raised by her uncle
Mordecai. Her uncle, family and friends loved her because she was a woman who feared
God.

One day the King needed to choose the next Queen of the empire. In order to do this, young
women were selected and had to go through a preparation period before being presented to
the King. Esther was selected to be part of this group of young women and out of all of
them; she won Hegais favor, the Kings eunuch. When it was Esthers turn to be presented
before the King, she didnt ask for anything instead she was willing to take whatever
suggestions Hegai had for her. (Esther 2:15). Isnt this answer impressive? What can we see
in Esthers answer to the eunuch? Her answer shows humility and a simple heart.

The opposite of humility is pride. Pride doesnt let us see our mistakes but instead, it
makes us see others mistakes in much higher degree. It destroys kingdoms and families
just as it did in this story with King Xerxes and Queen Vashti. Vashti was blinded by pride
and believed she was above anything else. Pride blinds us! Lets be careful with this sin!

What values or characteristics can we learn from Esther? Lets see:

1. She was a wise woman, intelligent and with common sense

2. She was a brave woman who was not afraid to face difficulties but instead right at
the moment of trial she said, And if I perish, I perish. (Esther 4:16).
3. She gave herself without holding back for a cause; to follow and do Gods will.
4. Had a noble character.
5. A language seasoned with grace and humility
6. Her great faith in our God.
7. Her deep desire for Gods will to be fulfilled

Beautiful women, the same God Esther had is our God. He has the power and grace to
make us into beautiful instruments, the same way He did with Esther. The world and our
society are in the hands of the devil, the enemy, who decides the destiny of these people.
Yet, God has called us to bring blessing to an entire nation. Our families and friends need
Jesus Christ to come reign in our lives. You and I can be that instrument today, an
instrument like the life of that brave young woman, Esther.
