Interpretation of Data
17 19
Highest 35 37
The table above shows that pre-test scores ranged from17 to 35 while
Lowest 17 19 post test scores ranged from 19 to 37 which means an increase of scores as shown
in the gap between the red line(posttest) and blue line(pretest). Statistical Analysis
showed an average of 30.36 for posttest and 28.36 for pre-test.

Analysis
The table reveals that the t Stat is equal 2.179, this is the mean
difference between the post test and pres test scores. The p-value is .021 which is
greater than .01 which means that the test scores are NOT significantly different at
1% level.

Conclusion

As revealed by the foregoing analysis of the data, the interventions made

during the Competency-Based Training(CBT) for Tourism Promotion Services NC II has no effect
with the trainees.

Recommendation

Competency-Based Training for Enhanced Tourism Promotion Services NC II

is therefore recommended:
1. CBLM must contain sufficient information and is relevant to the objectives.
2. Select methods that are appropriate with the training need.
3. Provide appropriate course activities.

Pre-Test - Post Test Analysis
Interpretation of Data

The table above shows that pre-test scores ranged from 31 to 67 while post test scores ranged from
49 to 67 which means increase of scores as shown in the gap between the red line(posttest) and blue
line(pretest). Statistical Analysis showed an average of 60.37 for posttest and 53.74 for pre-test.

Analysis

Comparison between pre-test and posttest using paired t-test as revealed by the table of values shows
pre-test and posttest are significantly different with a p = 0.00025. This means that mean scores increased.

Conclusion

As revealed by the foregoing analysis of the data, the interventions made during the Competency-
Based Training(CBT) for Enhanced Tourism Promotion Services NC II effectively increased the learnings of the
trainees.

Recommendation

Competency-Based Training for Tourism Promotion Services NC II is therefore recommended for use in all
TESDA institutions using the Competency-Based Training Materials(CBLM).
