Systems Engineering Intern
Recognized as a Distinguished associate during ten week internship.
Developed a low-level AI to scan Cerners Citrix farms for misconfigured servers in turn giving Cerner the ability
to save money.
Collaborated with experts in the front-end portion of Cerner to assist in enhancing their workflows and
production improvements for front-end environments.
Sailbot, Ames IA (August 2016 Present)
Project Lead
Leading a team of multidisciplinary engineering students towards the design, development, and construction of
a fully autonomous two-meter sailboat.
Collaborate with team leads to create and execute aggressive milestones to make the boat competition ready.
Electronics/Controls Team Lead
Integrated Analog to Digital converters, Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, Power systems, Analog and Digital
sensors, etc into a circuit to be used in the boat.
Worked with Project Lead and other team leads to create budgets and milestones that allowed for the minimum
amount of layover on teams waiting for each other.

Built an executive team responsible for implementing programs and processes to improve our GPA by 0.44 and
bring in the largest recruitment class Delta Sigma Phi has had to date.
Collaborate with leaders on campus to implement bylaw changes to improve Greek Life at Iowa State.
Work with 6 other executive team members to manage a budget of $175,000, plan events, and constantly
strive for improvement and excellence within the fraternity.
Fundraising Chair
Planned fundraising events responsible for bringing in an extra $2,975 into the fraternity.
Oversaw members during events and directed them to complete tasks in an efficient matter to allow for a

Responsible for creating a 4 layer PCB which contains multiple sensors used for detecting a pilots ECG
waveforms and interpreting them to detect stress levels.
