Thank you very much for your interest in the DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.

DIgSILENT has set standards and trends in power system modelling, analysis and simulation for
more than 25 years. PowerFactory software is being used in more than 130 countries.
The proven advantages of PowerFactory software are its overall functional integration its
applicability to the modelling of generation, transmission, distribution and industrial grids and
the analysis of the interactions of these grids.

In the PowerFactory 2017 release a portfolio of new capabilities and features for improved
result visualisation and graphical representation has been added. Moreover, the 2017 release
integrates a variety of new models and provides a multitude of improvements regarding
calculation performance via the incorporation of advanced parallelisation techniques. In
addition, the new version comes with a completely redesigned look, making the handling more
intuitive and improving workflow.

In order to get a first impression of the software capabilities a Demo Licence valid for 28 days
starting today is offered.

PowerFactory Installation
Please be aware that the PowerFactory Demo Licence is PC-bound, not available for virtual
machines and is provided in the latest version only.

Kindly access the DIgSILENT Download Area for registered users with the above credentials to
download PowerFactory 2017 (common msi-installer package installation).

Demo Activation
To activate the licence after installation, please start the PowerFactory 2017 application. The
Licence Manager will open, select Activate Licence and enter the Activation Key provided
below:

Activation Key: 98M6C-NG2HW-AW64Q-F8RS7-SY8TJ

Follow the instructions on the screen. After successful activation, please restart PowerFactory.
