The digital blackboard in the lab creates a smart multi-user

space that allows team members to work on challenges
together. Lola appears on the blackboard and is able to
interact with the team and manipulate the same content as if
she was in the room with them. Kat shares her live dive
experience with a classroom. The children can see what she
sees, use real-time translation to communicate across
languages, and annotate her view. In the caf, Kat and her
team work together contributing different kinds of content
to a shared digital canvas. They can see what each other are doing, and easily discuss and share
ideas.
Microsoft has several predictions about techin their vision for
2020.
Youll be able to acces a library of languages for instant
translations.
Smart bracelets that function with just a few gestures will
replace smartphones.
3D projection monitors will bring digital media to life before
your very eyes.
Youll be able to tap on your refrigerator to see its contents instantly
without opening the door.
Car windows will give you information about your trip by displaying
digital images.
Malleable paper-thin electronics will make mobile communication
more compact.
All these things are expected by Microsoft for 2020. Hopefully the time
will come to experience each one of the technology that it will offer us.
