Our suicidal attitude towards foreign investment concepts:

In this chapter the critique in foreign investment bill in the philippines which gives foreign
investors exceptional rights and privileges to legally exploit the land in our nation. After the
independence of this country, the filipino thinks that we will be richer overnight but that is not the
case. Political independence is just a start but without economic independence all of this freedom
would be an illusion. Because of this bill the economic suicide have begun which is to exploit our land
even it is unconstitutional, we let this aliens touch our lands to help us grow according to them but
the profit gained by this foreign businesses is too high while the percentage of government share
about this is too low, while the products being produced is usually not from filipinos but to their
motherland. We let this happen because of the belief that they are expert at these, yes we can still
hire them to work for us, to teach us but not to the point they are the one who is in control, yet at the
end they are the one who is in control, maybe because of their influence or also the desperation of
the filipino to grow fast, to industrialized. This large exploitation of lands which is most of them is idle
makes the filipino people jobless and landless yet we are one of the fastest to grow in terms of
population. Filipinos should be the real economic bosses in our country, filipinos must be the one who
is in control of our dictated policy, filipinos should learn how to be economically independent.

Foreign banks and economic independence important aspects:

No matter how pure our nationalism in terms of political and cultural aspect it will be
meaningless until we secure economic independence. We are conditioned and also convince that the
reason the foreigners are here is to help the our nation in international transactions with their
advanced knowledge for the philippines to be more faster and more effective. But the problem lies
the more freedom they can get in banking business more than the filipino, in terms of paid-in capital
the foreign investors have more access in money and in rights. Most foreign banks in our nation is
specialized in import-export transactions even this is an agricultural nation to help maintain the
colonial economic relationship.

The senate bill no. 410 is to stop the utilization by these foreign banks earned in the
philippines-capital that rightly should be used for philippine economic development but this bill is in
the process. In short thee foreign banks benifit more, more than the filipino. The philippines is blinded
with the aliens decoy purpose in which they will help us internationally but it will lock us with
layers of short-term loans.
