forming .
Normally, the machining processes
possible with the ERT 700/2 are those
that follow the press forming
operation , yet there are also numeroUs
other possible applications, including
for example :
Trimming and flanging of st el ribs
(bodies of tanks, containers , etc.)
horizontal
Bel'iing of pipes for various slides
applications (flues, air conditioning
ducts, etc.l.
Trimming and flanging of open rings
(non-welded ribsl.

The m ost common machining

operation, following press forming , is
trimming.
In addition to trimming it may be
necessary to create a flange facing
inwards, outwards or higher up in the
body of the piece.
The piece being machined is turned by
the chuck, by means of plece -holder
moulds, whLch if necessary can be of SM
motor- driven

expander can become an actual
f orming t aol for the performance of
various mach ining tasks.
Three sndes can be used
slmultaneously, in five different
posltions.
The slides can take a wide variety of
shapes and sizes.
