Bio:
Born in Warren, OH
Lives & works in Broadway, NC
Raised by a mother, who was a musician, Angela was encouraged to be creative. As a teen,
she fell in love with oil paints and took her first formal art class in high school. After joining
the Army, she began painting large-scale murals on the base where she was stationed.
Acrylic paint became her strongest passion and her love for pop art developed. She is
enrolled in a two-year art program at Fayetteville Technical Community College, and she
has expanded her skills to include ceramics, pastels, and pen and ink. She continues to
sculpt and make life casts. Currently, she is due to graduate in December 2017 and has
been accepted into the Bachelor of Art Education program at Fayetteville State University.
She plans to continue to fuse fine art and pop art in her works.
