Describe about family
I'm sure all of you have a family, but do you know the meaning of family?

Family is an important unit of society. It holds great importance in social life. It is

the strongest unit of society. A society is made up of families. A family is the first

school in which a child receives the basic values of life. He learns good manners in

the family. The morals and values learnt in family become our guiding force. They

make our character. They lay the foundation of our thinking. I feel fortunate to be

born in a family where values are inculcated in early childhood.

For example about my family. My family consists of 4 people. They are my

father, mother, younger brother and myself. My fathers name is Sriwidodo. He is

a teacher of junior high school in Strada of Saint Mary, Tangerang. My mothers

name is Kerinah. She works in the lab. My litle brothers name is Deny. He sits in

second grade elementary school, and myself is a college student. That is part of

simple family.

The peace and progress of a family depend upon its members. If the

members are good, the family gets prestige. Family is like a heaven. There is peace,

prosperity, love and care. The youngers have regard and respect for the elders

while the elders shower them with their love and affection. The instructions of the

elders are followed with great respect. If a member has some problem the whole

family is beside him. So, from the above it can be concluded that the family is the

smallest unit of the society consisting of the heads of household and some people

who collected and live somewhere under a roof in a state of mutual dependence.
