The Problem

Current disinfectant technology requires disinfectants to be applied to surfaces episodically, resulting in it being nearly
impossible to achieve a completely clean room. Medical establishments and small clinics in the surrounding areas reported a
consumption between 500 and 4,000 dollars a month on cleaning and disinfecting services because of the inadequacy of having
a device that disinfects, periodically. As a result, money is lost because companies are continuously having to hire cleaning
services to disinfect and or train employees; to disinfect areas.
This is a new, efficient and cost effective way to disinfect facilities such as child care institutions, clinics, and hospitals, costing
as little as three dollars. These current techniques and technologies are not only inefficient and a hassle, taking up too much time
and money, but they are also putting patients at risk for infections from contaminants. According to the Centers for Disease
Control, every year, an estimated 648,000 people in the U.S. develop infections during a hospital stay, and about 75,000 die.

efforts. Its as small light fixture that is installed easily into the ceiling of any room in the hospital keeping surroundings safe of
bacteria.

20-gauge CRS. Hole-free, one-piece, seam-welded construction. Integral aluminum heat sink for thermal dissipation. 18-gauge housing flange
with mitered and welded corners. Gloss white TGIC polyester powder-coat finish with 5-stage pre-treatment. Antimicrobial finish on all exposed
painted surfaces of installed luminaire.
DOORFRAME:
18-gauge CRS. One-piece inset-style construction with welded corners. Gloss white TGIC polyester powder coat finish with 5-stage pre-
treatment. Door Frame secured to housing with stainless steel aircraft cables and captive, flush-mounted Phillips-head fasteners. Antimicrobial
finish standard on all exposed painted surfaces of the installed luminaire. One-piece, closed-cell silicone gasket seals doorframe to housing.
OPTICS:
Symmetric optic includes diffused, impact-resistant acrylic lens.
Non-IC recessed ceiling mounting into grid and flange application types. Flange installation utilizes included adjustable swing-out mounting
brackets. Grid installation suitable for 1" and 1.5" T-bar ceilings. Universal installation into flange (drywall) or grid ceiling applications.
WARRANTY:
One (1) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Five (5) year warranty on LEDs and driver for defects resulting in a fixture
lumen depreciation of 30% or greater.

Luminaire is certified to UL standards by Intertek Testing Laboratories for Wet Location. UL certified IP65 per IEC 60598. NSF2 Splash/Non-

DELIVERY TIME:
We will delivery four weeks from the time contract is signed and executed.
INSTALLATION TIME:
Installation will commence the next day after delivery; our Engineers will require three days to complete the installation.
Technical Approach
By combining disinfecting technologies with lighting technology, time and money are being used more efficiently. Every operating
room already consists of lighting equipment and components and also requires disinfecting so why not combine the two? Indigo-Clean
uses a safe, 405nm visible light while the room is in use.
This is designed to allow light to not only serve as a disinfectant, but as a primary lighting source.
The light targets naturally occurring molecules called porphyrins that exist inside bacteria. The light is absorbed and the excited
molecules produce Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) inside the cell
The benefits and advantages of this structured approach and design is to not only disinfect episodically, but disinfect
continuously while illuminating the room.
Minimum 85% driver efficiency. Standard 0-10V dimming with 1-100% range with dim-to-dark capabilities in White
Disinfection Mode. 700 . A maximum source current. Two operational modes: White Disinfection Mode is a white LED array
for ambient lighting plus simultaneous low-power 405nm indigo array for low-level continuous environmental disinfection.
Indigo Disinfection Mode is a high power 405nm Indigo LED array for continuous environmental disinfection. Operational
mode determined via internal low-voltage device based upon input provided by external IC100 room control system. EMC
meets or exceeds MIL STD 461F conducted requirements.

normal facility would require 10-12 of their magnificent bulbs in order to sufficiently keep all harmful waste and bacteria from lying
around.
On an average, the disinfecting light bulbs cost $323 so with twelve bulbs, youre looking at $3,876 with a one time installation fee of
$75.
Keep in mind, this is still cost efficient because this is a one time installation fee and the bulbs are effective for up to three months
versus $4000 dollars a month as stated above on cleaning and disinfecting services.
