CONTRACT OF SERVICES

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This contract is made and entered by and between:

OSMEA NATIONAL High School, a public secondary school, with

address at Barangay Osmea, Marabut, Samar, represented by its School
Head, ZALDY A. TABUGOCA, hereinafter referred to as the FIRST PARTY,

-and-

ORLANDO B. SAO, of legal age, Filipino and with residence at Barangay

Canyoyo, Marabut, Samar, hereinafter referred to as the SECOND PARTY,

WITNESSETH:

1. That the FIRST PARTY is in need of the services of the SECOND

PARTY who shall perform work not performed by the regular
personnel of the FIRST PARTY;

2. That the SECOND PARTY has signified his intention, to which the
FIRST PARTY has accepted, to provide the services needed by the
latter;

3. That the SECOND PARTY hereby possesses the education,

experience and/or skills required to perform the job as
described herein;

4. That the SECOND PARTY hereby attests that he is not related

within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity to the
hiring authority and/or representative of the FIRST PARTY and
that he has not been previously dismissed from government
service by reason of an administrative offense;

5. That in view hereof, the SECOND PARTY is hereby contracted as a

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WATCHMAN from OCTOBER 1, 2017 TO DECEMBER 31,
2017 in consideration of Five Thousand Pesos (Php 5,000.00) per
month to be paid on a monthly basis and upon the availability
of the school MOOE for the month served;

6. That as a SCHOOL WATCHMAN, the SECOND PARTY is expected to

perform the following functions:
6.1 Guards the gate during class days.
6.2 Safeguards and protects all school properties.
6.3 Accosts suspicious persons and reports unusual happenings
and incidents to the school head.
6.4 Maintains proper decorum and courtesy to all incoming and
outgoing employees and guests.
6.5 Maintains peace and order within the school vicinity.
6.6 Assists in the conduct of emergency response.
6.7 Performs coordination of work relative to security measures.

7. That the SECOND PARTY shall perform work from MONDAY TO SUNDAY,
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM;

8. That notwithstanding the above-mentioned schedule of work, the

SECOND PARTY may be required to render services by the FIRST
PARTY as the exigency of the service may require;
9. That it is understood that this contract does not create an
employer employee relationship between the FIRST PARTY and the
SECOND PARTY, that the services rendered hereunder are not
 considered as basis for entitlements to leave privileges and
other benefits by the regular personnel of the FIRST PARTY;

10. That this contract shall take effect on OCTOBER 1, 2017.

Notwithstanding the fixed duration of this contract, the
services of the SECOND PARTY may be terminated earlier than the
expiration date due to unsatisfactory service, unavailability
of funds or other reasons outside the control of the FIRST PARTY.

IN WITNESS HEREOF, the parties hereunto set their hands on 1st of

OCTOBER 2017 at Osmea National High School, Osmea, Marabut, Samar.
