5 Conclusion
The wheel loaders ability to lay claim
to a successful market position is
greatly dependent on factors such as
fuel consumption, exhaust gas and
noise emissions, availability and cost
effectiveness. Rexroths modern drive
and control concepts contribute to the
reduction of the life-cycle costs and
will continue to help keep wheel load-
ers a competitive working machine in
the future. The new developments in
the areas of travel drive and working
hydraulics are essential factors in the
optimization of driving comfort while
simultaneously reducing operating
costs which demonstrate the potential
they still hold even 50 years after the
invention of the wheel loader.
