Conclusion:
Training and Development is essential to the ongoing success of every organization. Although
technology and the internet have enabled global collaboration and competition, people are the
organizations competitive advantage. Employee training and development enables employees to
develop skills and competencies necessary to enhance bottom-line results for their organization.
Strong team needs individuals who are dedicated to giving their best at work. Highly self-motivated,
committed, ambitious employees give the most to their company and get the most from their work.
Low team morale, lack of initiative, lack of energy, mistakes and high staff turnover are just some of
the clues that motivation is an issue. These issues are motivation related but training and an impact on
it. So providing proper training can change the view of the employee then it will help the management
to get the optimal level of performance. People are the key resource in any organization. Everyone in
every organization no matter what the product, service or their position has to achieve results with and
through the efforts of other people. The main premise is that in order to work effectively one need to
develop insight into what motivates individuals and teams to maximize their performance. Armed
with this fresh perspective, you can then manage your interaction with others to ensure that they work
with a sense of commitment rather than merely complying with the minimum needed to get by.

BBL management can be involved more in internal training which will increase the effectiveness of
these training and decrease the need for their house training program. This study will help one to be
familiar with the specific training & development programs of the banking organizations both locally
& internationally and also analyze the training and development system with some recommendations
for the bank. There will always be scope for work with training & development program in the future.
