WHAT IS IMMERSION?

Work immersion refers to the part of the senior high school (SHS) Curriculum
consisting of 80 hours of hand on experience or work simulation which the
grades 11 and 12 students will undergo to expose them to the actual workplace
Setting and to enrich the competencies provided by the school under the
supervision of the school head and the designated personnel of the partner.

Immersion is done to outside the school campus in a WORKPLACE IMMERSION

VENUE defined as the place where work immersion of students done . Example
venue include , DPWH, HOSPITAL NG LIPA ,OFFICE AND PROJECT SITES.

What could lead to confusion is that the word IMMERSION actually law two
meanings in K to 12. The first meaning refers to a required SHS subject in the
curriculum . The second meaning refers not to a subject but to a preferred mode of
delivery of TECH-VOC-Subjects.

And immersion as a subject in the curriculum . In the curriculum guides posted on

the DEPED website , the word IMMERSION occurs in the Specialized Subjects of
the tracks (Academic technical vocational live lihood or TVL ,sport and arts
and design ).

The immersion train , help and experience the student for the course who chosen .
WHERE DID IMMERSION HAPPEN?

The immersion happen to train the student to be prepaired in college . And the
experiences in this immersion will help .

The performance in this immersion is help to enchance the skills of students in

senior high school .

The immersion in senior high school will be useless if it is patterned after most of
the OJT experiences currently being undertaken by college student.

In order to make immersion meaningful and useful to school and campanies.

WHAT IS PROTFOLIOALL ABOUT?

Its all about the experience of the training on immersion .

That give moral support of my teachers .The immersion is big project for the
school because the immersion is need to outside and go to the DPWH and
HOSPITAL NG LIPA. To finish the 80 hours they have 2 day per weekend.

Immersion is giving idea of what he /she get course. It can help to elaborate on
what course that he/she getting on it give knowledge . It can also help us to go
outside on our shell ,to over come our weakness. To communicate with other or to
be socialized.

Immersion serve as inspiration and guide to us .Being one of the student

experienced immersion this is a big break to us . Because we try to be one of the
staff of hospital and dpwh. Its also help us to communicate to other people.

We build a strong foundation for friendship and to expressed who i am.
