On behalf of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), I would like to thank you for
allowing us to participate and contribute in the recent series of stakeholder meetings to revise the
above referenced regulations.

As part of our on-going mutual efforts to make regulations more effective during extreme storm
events, we offer our support for the proposed revisions to the regulations for floodplain
management in Harris County.

We look forward to our continued participation with Harris County as future changes to
development regulations are considered.
