COMMUNICATION HACKS

The seminar is talk about the communication hacks on how to be more

confident, the Dos and Donts during an interview and skills needed to be a
better listener and speaker by the speaker, Dr. Czarina Alvaro. The seminar is all
about becoming a comparative and competitive individual through having a
good communication skill that everyone must possess especially in business
world.

I being a business student, these seminar is very useful to me because I know

myself that I dont have the good communication skill even Im confident. Ive
learned a lot from the seminar like the three important skills that a millennial like
me should possess. First is Fluency which is the ability to speak easily and
smoothly foreign language effectively. Second is Comprehension, the capability
of fully understanding such situations and things you are uttering, listening and
reading. Last but not the list is Accuracy, is the ability of being precise, exact
and being accurate of what you are saying or working on. These skills really
important to a business student like me because I will use it in the future. I also
learned about Elevator speech where in the first step is to seduce. Seduce
means attracting people with your ideas and smile which I usually do, smiling to
people. Second is engaging with them which are creating a rapport to people
whom youre dealing with. The third one is winning which you can achieve
when you have charisma and you successfully did the first and second step. I
dont have a problem on being a charismatic because most of my friends tells
me that I have the charisma I dont if it is true but I can easily influence other
people and most of the people Im talking with believes in me. All the things Ive
learned from the seminar can be a tool for me to be a good professional in the
future. I can use it as a guide for my personal and career growth because just
like what the speaker says, Communication is the lifeblood of human
civilization. How can I be a comparative and competitive professional if I
cannot even tell my story fluently and confidently? The seminar thought me well
on how can I be a one of the effective influencer in the business world someday
through possessing a good communication skill.
