Nine Houses Was Burried by Landslide in Banjarnegara

A heavy rain and the labile sand in Clapar Village, madukara District, Banjarnegara,
West Java to caused nine houses in there were heavy damage and 237 citizens were
evacuated from there.
Based on the result of PMI (Indonesian Red Cross), the main landslide in
Banjarnegara was going twice. Firstly, in Wednesday, 24 Aprii 2016 at 18.00 p.m. and then
the second landslide was going in Friday, 25 April 2016 at 01.30 a.m.
Head of data center, information and public relation of National Board for Disaster
Management, Sutopo, said that the landslide tookplace in wide area, that is 5 hectar are with
move sand until 1,2 kilometers. The type of landslide was soil creep which was moved with
slowly and step by step. Based on geology condition and topography, in the place easy to
takeplace a landslide.
The landslide was caused thw way between Banjarnegara and Dieng damage in the
some spot, with radius 1 kilometer. Sutopo, said that this area with condition didnt suitable
use to settlement for citizens because this area very dangerous. Although, Handoko an
Indonesian BBC said, that many refuges in Cluwas Auditorium, didnt yet to talk about how
their houses after that and added the goverment didnt yet to think about serve some
temporary houses to many citizens.
