Chapter 1

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

A healthy school environment full of nutritious school meals, health

promoting cleaning products, physical activity and green schoolyards sets

students up for success in the classroom and beyond. Without this or any

shortcoming from whats listed could cause a tragic effect on a students

performance or worst case scenario the student himself.

It is indeed challenging for students, such as ourselves, to stay healthy

considering our daily routines; from sleeping hours to balancing meals. Escamilla

states that Breakfast fuels you up and gets you ready for the day. , which is a

100% factual. A good breakfast fuels you up and gets you ready for the day. In

general, kids and teens who eat breakfast have more energy, do better in
school, and eat healthier throughout the day. Without breakfast, people can get

irritable, restless, and tired.
