on the occasion of their selection as University Innovation Fellows by Stanford Universitys
Hasso Plattner d.School. These are among the 229 students from 62 higher education
institutions in 10 countries.

University Innovation Fellows program empowers students to become agents of change at their
institutions. The University Innovation Fellows (UIFs) work to ensure their peers gain the
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to compete in the economy of the future and make a
positive impact in the world. Further as leaders, they create new opportunities that help their
peers develop an entrepreneurial mindset, gain confidence levels, seize opportunities, define
problems and address global challenges.
This is a great opportunity for these Fellows to take part in various activities to be conducted by
d. school, Stanford University, Google and other industry giants. The exposure they had may help
them to host several experiential events. They may even work with faculty and administration in
designing and developing modernized curriculum.
The selects will have an opportunity to participate in the Silicon Valley Meet up to be held in
November 2017 wherein they interact with several UIFs who assemble there from all corners of
the globe. The institution takes this opportunity to acknowledge the commendable job done by the
APSSDC, which worked collaboratively with the institute and also liasoned with the Stanford
University for this fruitful outcome.
The Institution has been extending, all the required help to the selected University Innovation
Fellows in every direction. The efforts put forth by Dr. K. Narasimha Rao, SPOC, APSSDC,
GVPCE(A) as Faculty Champion in guiding the UIFs to attain their goal need a special mention.
We wish the UIF team a great time at the summit.
