Assessment for lesson plan 1: The students will create a flip book of the layers of the Earth.

They must have the name of each layer, their description, and two additional facts about the
layer under the flap. This assessment will be worth 12 points. An accommodation for this
project will be only finding one additional fact for each layer for a student that may have a
specific learning disability in reading or writing.

Assessment for lesson plan 2: The evaluation for this lesson is a formative assessment. The
students will have to make an atmosphere in a group using different liquids. I will grade this
project on correct order of the layers and teamwork cooperation. This project will be worth 22
points. An accommodation will be choosing who they can work with if they have people they
dont get along with well.

Assessment for lesson plan 3: The students will complete a fill in the blank worksheet and a
matching worksheet that they will turn into me at the end of the period. These worksheets will
be worth 5 points each. These worksheets are formative assessments. An accommodation for
this assessment is reading the questions to a student if they need that for comprehension.
Another accommodation is a word bank for the matching and fill in the blank.
Assessment for lesson plan 4: The students will complete a flip book on weather instruments.
They will have to glue an instrument name to a flap, then match up the description with it.
Underneath the flap they will have to draw a picture of what it looks like. The last flap they will
have to draw themselves as a meteorologist. I will grade on spelling, accuracy, and neatness.
This formative assessment will be worth 20 points. An accommodation will be printing out
pictures of each instrument and having them glue it underneath the correct flap. The names
and descriptions will also be cut out so the students dont have to cut them out themselves.
