4. In three sentences, explain why you choose this article to be reviewed

I choose this article because this article is talking about something that is linked
to my major, and that is renewable energy. Renewable energy is not something that
a lot of people talk about in the past, but with Paris Agreement being made, it is
slowly taking place as several countries priority. I hope this article can shed a light
on renewable energy as an alternative to fossil fuel

5. In your own words, summarize the article in 5-8 sentences

The price of solar energy in India is significantly lower than fossil-fuel

generated power, which is rare, seeing as we live in a society where renewable
energy is not something that is commonly used to generate power. Being the worlds
third biggest greenhouse gases emitters, India is slowly, but surely, trying to convert
to renewable energy to boost its green footprint, seeing as they have the worlds
largest power plant with 2.5 million solar modules across 2,500 acres of land in
Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu. India is also now a part of some of the biggest solar market,
seeing as its solar capacity has risen 76 per cent since 2016. The rise is also due to
the falling prices of solar modules and solar inverters. The government has set a goal
of building 175 gigawatts of solar energy by 2030, but Indias electricity agency
reported that the target might be fulfilled 3 years earlier than the supposed
schedule.
