Brief instructions Twiddla is an online whiteboard software that allows multiple users to

tool documents, pictures and webpages so that students can work together
to work out problems, conduct research together, and give each other
feedback.
1- Students will go to Twiddla.com
2- Click the Go: Start a new whiteboard
3- They will be given a new url for collaborators to be invited to the
same white board (mine was: www.twiddla.com/ja9c7q)
4- In here students can chat in the chat box and work in the white
board space
5- Students can also upload documents, pictures and webpages by
using the toolbar on the top.
6- Teachers could also use this to lead lessons and meet with
students online outside of school.
Ideas for how the SOL Math 3.3 a) name and write fractions (including mixed

receive a list of sentences that need to be edited. They will upload the
document to twiddla and work together to edit them to be correct.
Students will then type up the corrected sentence onto the assignment
paper. Then students, who would have typed up their own sentences
they need help with in class, will upload their sentences and correct
them with the help of their groups.
SOL Science 5.6 The student will investigate and understand
characteristics of the ocean environment. Key concepts include
a) geological characteristics; b) physical characteristics; and c)
ecological characteristics. Students will need to research and
investigate the ocean environment on their own. Students can do a
project with a partner or in groups of three where they can investigate
and create an example of the ocean environment. Part of that will be
research using online databases, students can upload the article via URL

and information from the article as part of their research.
