Overall aim and context of the lesson:


3NMD4. Use known doubles and halves facts to
find related doubles and halves.

Students able to solve the multiplication problem


(read and solve) with 2s, 3s, and 5s problems.
Using double strategy to solve their multiplication
problems.
Using materials to represent their answers.

Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss (one paragraph each) according
to following

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well
and what hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.

Using manipulatives which helped me to explain the concept easily. As this section
(concrete: manipulatives) is the most important part of introduce or review any
concept which help to transferee the information easier and simple. Also, students
learn by doing, so it important to have materials to involved hands-on as their brain
work at the same time.
Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem
was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

Writing my steps that I do through this lesson on a paper before I started the lesson, to
make sure that I did not missed anything and steps going in order as it make the lesson
more benefits.

Personal focus for next lesson:


Timed myself as I will work and observe each group in the class. Even if the develop and the
Mastered students do not need the teacher much more than the emerging, but still I need to
come and check and give positive feedback to them
