Commented [1]: Great news!

You have been chosen

Project Mini ID to receive the prototype X451 bionic arm. You will be
rehired at 1.5x the pay you were making initially. The
arm will also be fitted with our new "Mini ID". We have
begun injecting these Mini ID devices into volunteer
employees and have had great success. The
wonderful thing about the Mini ID is that you don't have
to carry around your ID on a lanyard because all of
your security info is tucked securely away in your arm
and can be updated electronically.

Project Summary
We would like to implement a prosthetic option for those who have lost their arms, and hands.
We have bionic hands and arms to help people without arms and hands do the same tasks as

those with such. These arms will also have technological features such as identification
capabilities to determine who they are. These prosthetics will have remote abilities such as being
able to open doors with compatible chips installed.
The second option is a convenient way for employees to identify themselves without
pulling out an ID card called the Mini ID. This device works by being injected in ones skin and
receptors on doors and walls are able read employees information through radio frequency
technology. Employees will have just need to have their wrists close enough that the receptors
can read their personal information. They will also be able to log in to their Mini ID accounts to
update their personal information.

Introduction:

The purpose of this proposal is to introduce possibly two new security measures: the Prototype
X451 Bionic Arm and the "Mini ID" devices.

After one of our very own employees got attacked and lost a limb due to her not having her Stark
ID card, we wanted to implement a new form of security that will allow employees to go within
the confines of Stark Industries without having their Stark ID card. Following the incident, the
Security Department further investigated to get to the root of the problem to figure out ethical
ways to prevent this incident from reoccurring. The Security Department did just that. We have
created Mini ID devices and the Prototype X451 Bionic Arm .

Rationale & Significance:

The Mini ID devices are a new ethical and innovative way for employees to not have to carry
their Stark ID cards. Each employees unique Mini ID will be programmed to each of the Stark
Industries company security pets to prevent future attacks on employees for not having proper
identification. The Mini ID devices will be implanted under the skin, on employees left wrist.
The Mini ID device will contain personal identification and information pertaining to that
employee. The employee will be able to delete, add and update their information via online
through the Mini ID portal on the Security Departments website. Beforehand, Stark Industries
did not have anything like this. Employees had to go to Human Resources to modify any of their
personal information, now it is at the employee's leisure.

Prototype X451 Bionic Arm, is a prosthetic arm that will be offered to all employees, even those
who are abled-bodied. Prototype X451 will have full mobility and functionings as a normal arm.
Prototype X451 will be implanted with Mini ID devices, as well.

Plan of Work:
Methods:
For the bionic arm prototype we will create it with the following steps
We carved metal rods for these prosthetic arms using a robotic drill
This metal is Titanium steel
We bought some hinges for the prototype that will make the arms and hands bend
Formed outer layers of the hands and arms with 3-D printing
Theses outer layers are made of a special fiberglass to prevent damages
We already designed a nanochip with a special circuit for the Mini ID
The circuit has radio frequency ID powers (similar to ones used in ATM cards)
This is being tested for efficiency and compatibility purposes
Employees (Kevin Blair, Brionna McRae) have volunteered in Mini ID test
They signed nondisclosure agreements and waivers of suing Stark for injuries

Budget Analysis/Cost Proposal:

This type of bionic arm is called the Above-Elbow DynamicArm. This is

the lightest, yet strongest arm we have developed. It is smooth, quick, and
powerful. This arm is made to handle it all, while being fully able to extend
and flex your elbow with up to 11 lbs of weight.

Prices of the DynamicArm: $50,000-$100,000

Prices of the X451 arm: $40,000-$75,000

This is the Michelangelo prosthetic arm/hand. This hand is designed to give

you the most natural and free flowing hand you will ever see. This makes it
easier for you to accomplish everyday task that maybe you havent been
able to before.
Prices of the Michelangelo: $20,000-$40,000
Prices of the X451 hand: $15,000-$30,000

This is the new and improved Bebionic hand. This hand is so lifelike due
to its 14 different positions and grip patterns it can do. Not only is it very
comfortable, it is also very intuitive due to its proportional speed control it
gives you for precise task.
Prices of the Bebionic hand: $15,000-$30,00
Prices of the X451 hand: $8,000-$15,00

I believe that the plan we have implemented is well prepared for this expense. We have set aside
a budget of $1,000,000. With this budget and the fact that we will be rehired at 1.5x the initial
rate I believe we can hire up to 7-10 new personnel for this job, while still paying the entire
group the initial fair amount for the completed job. Since we already have the factory/building
structure for this we only have to spend money on getting it running and set up. I account that to
be well within our budget and i believe we will be ask to make more once we have the first batch
of X451 prosthetic limbs available. With stark industry as our company and all the benefits it
has, i truly see no problem with our budget or cost overruns, or even unforeseen labor strikes. I
believe this project will come out to be around 1-2 million dollars due to the resources we have.

Problem Analysis

One problem that the mini ID presents is one that is rooted in ethics. Being that the mini ID is
implanted in the skin most people will express concern about whether the device will be track
their every move, but this isnt the case. The device is designed to simply provide access to the
employee based on their specific clearance. There maybe be some individuals whose fear will
not allow them to moved forward with the mini ID. We must find an efficient way to
accommodate those individuals. Accommodating those individuals may present another
problem. We must ensure that their accommodation is equally secure and equally easy to use.
This task may be difficult and may leave a few holes in our security system. These holes may
leave us vulnerable by making it easy to use the use the inconsistency to breach our system.

Conclusion

We believe that with our new product the X451 bionic arm all your future worries and problems will be
answered. Unfortunately, there are people who have certain disabilities that others dont and for that, We
thought of the best and most efficient way to rectify that problem and have offered our opinion through a
proposal. These prosthetic arms and limbs will hold a mini id chip that has information pertaining to the
employee and their work life. We also have a second option for those who have not lost their limbs, but
those who want to make their check in and work history that much easier. We would like to implant a
mini id chip into their body so they no longer need to have a lanyard or personal ID card on them. Due to
the increase of technology we believe this will be the best and most efficient way to keep our business on
top. We want to be the best and believe this is a crucial step toward getting there.
