Set up Google Classroom for all classes
by Sept. 5
Get all students enrolled in classroom
in the first week of classes.
Post all assignments on classroom so
that they are available for students who
miss/lose them.
Use strategies introduced in the
Technology in the classroom summer
class that I took
Make at least one Rezzly assignment
for grade 7s and 8s
Indicators of Success/Expected Outcomes:
Student Survey on how helpful they
feel that classroom has been for their
learning/what can be done better
(December)
Student assignment done on Rezzly
(with informal survey on whether or not
they liked it)
Strategies and Timelines:
Send out a letter/email to parents in the
first 2 weeks of school introducing
myself
Send home a class newsletter (email
format) to grade 7/8 students parents on
a monthly basis
Make at least 1 positive phone call a
month
Resources: Indicators of Success/Expected Outcomes:
The input of my teacher mentor and At parent teacher interviews, ask
fellow staff parents if they are receiving emails and
if they like receiving the emails.
Hopefully I will receive a few replies to
emails
