2.Information on Software Release 9.0.9.0

2.1 General
This document introduces Software Release 9.0.9.0 (6130.2081.14) of the Service and
Maintenance Tool ZS4200. It describes what has been changed since the last released
ZS version: 9.0.8.0 (6130.2081.13).

The software can be used to configure the following devices:

R&SXD4200 6146.6000.02, 6146.6000.12
R&SSD4200 6146.6100.02, 6146.6100.12
R&SED4200C 6146.6300.02, 6146.6300.12
R&SXU4200 6144.7300.02, 6144.7300.12
R&SSU4200 6144.7500.02, 6144.7500.12
R&SEU4200C 6144.7800.02, 6144.7800.12

Notes:
For any configuration task, the user must load the command set file of the
DS4200 radio firmware version that is installed on the radio.
It is not possible to run two ZS4200 applications (of different versions) in
parallel.
The Software Release 9.0.9.0 is incompatible with radio software versions 4.x
and older.

2.2 New Functionality

The following list summarizes all features that have been introduced with Release
9.0.9.0 but did not yet exist in Release 9.0.8.0.
Support of new options of S4200 SW Release 11.10 (VHF/UHF)
R&S ZS4200 supports the following new options of S4200 SW Release 11.10
(VHF: 6164.6921.10 and UHF: 6164.6980.10):

2.3 Issues Solved with SW Release 9.0.9.0

The following list summarizes issues of Release 9.0.8.0 that have been fixed with the
new Release 9.0.9.0.
Lowercase characters in IPv6 address
While connected to the radio via USB, an IPv6 address with lowercase characters
was not accepted. ZS4200 version 9.0.9.0 solves this issue.
Prefix 2001: in IPv6 address It was not possible to configure a IPv6 address
starting with 2001: with ZS4200 version 9.0.8.0 (e.g. an address 2001:1::2 was
reduced to 1::2). ZS4200 version 9.0.9.0 solves this issue.

2.4 Known Issues

Invalid configuration of hostname not reported to user
If the ZS4200 is connected via LAN to the radio and the user tries to apply an
invalid setting to the parameter hostname, then ZS4200 fails to report the error.
The radio, however, internally rejects the setting. The user can find out whether a
setting has been applied by reading out the radio setting after changing
configuration. Note that this problem does not show up if ZS4200 is connected via
USB interface.
Display problem if parameter Installation Info or Location Info contains
special character semicolon
If the configuration parameter Installation Info or Location Info are configured by
remote management system via GB2PP/SNMP to a value which contains the
special character semicolon (;), the ZS4200 is not able to display the settings
table anymore. Workaround: User has to reconfigure subject parameter via remote
management system to a value which does not contain the special character
semicolon.
Note that this problem does not show up if subject parameter are configured via
ZS4200. Parameter validation of ZS4200 prevents the usage of special character
semicolon.
