About implementation of Keyline Pattern whit GPS - Aquinta:

1) Put the pattern on the GPS.

2) Browse the pattern and place a flag at

each vertex,
If from a vertex you can not see the next
flags, add one in the middle.

3) Start plow the pattern from the first flag

to the second, when the tractor is coming to
the second, someone raise the third flag to
show to the tractorist how to turn.
When you need to go out of a pattern(to
avoid the tree for example) is very important
to not plow.
You should get up the tool whenever you
gonna exit the pattern.
Continue on to draw the whole first pattern.

4) Once the first plow is ready you must copy the

pattern downward and upward.
For this, the tractor driver must observe the distance
that must be the wheel of the previous pattern to the
new pattern has the right distance and keep it. You can
also attached to the tractor a stick to have the correct
reference distance. The entire pattern is copied.
Leave a space whitout work at the limits of the terrain
to maneuver without going over the plow rea
(transparent violet on the map)
5) After several passes some
angles begin to be very small or
complicated. Ignore them, or
make it simplier, the important
thing is already done.

6) To simplify the work

and drawing the pattern
and becuse the patterns
get better, I made a
correction.

The correction is to avoid
angles and creating a simpler pattern. as it is seen in Fig. This should not be as accurate
becouse now we are not working on a very steep area (use common sense). This pattern is
then repeated inward thereof.

Recomendation:

Keyline plow is a tool, its management should be holistic so its important to contextualize:
climate, topography, soil, etc. Therefore it is important to note
- If the soil is clayey should not be too wet when passing the plow becouse could make the
pot efecto on the slots.
- Where the terrain is very steep is better separates the subsoliers or plowing}
- Correct deepnes is like 2 "to 3" below the average organic layer.
- After this land is left to stand without cattle for at least 6 weeks.
- This plow treatment its better complemented with the application of biofertilizers,
microorganisms, mineralization or cover croops(diversity special leguims)
