The journey of Aaron Clark

In 2021, there is an English boy named Aaron Clark. He lives in the west part of London. He

dreamed to play football for his favorite team London Football Club and England national

football team. He is now 7 years old and he is a very short kid comparing to others. Everyone

told him that he could not be a professional footballer due to his height. Whenever he goes

out and play football with his friends, they will always reject him from playing together

because they think that he will ruin their team. Aaron always plays football alone in a field of

his house. One day, there is a Spanish boy named Pedro Lpez move in as a neighborhood of

Aaron. He is at the same age as Aaron and also plays football. In the first day that Pedro

move in he has a chance to talk with Aaron.

Hey! Do you play football too? Pedro shouted and waved his hand at Aaron.

Yes, and who are you? Aaron replied.

Oh sorry, I forget to introduce myself to you, said Pedro. My name is Pedro Lpez, and

you?

Im Aaron, Aaron Clark, Aaron answered. I never saw you before, did you just moved in.

Yeah! we just moved in today, Pedro replied. Next time, lets play football together!

Sure! said Aaron.

I think I need to go now, said Pedro. See ya!

After that day, both of them always practice football together at Aarons place. Five years

later, Aaron and Pedro are now 12 years old and they start to be close to each other day by

day until they become a number one best friend. Both of them started to play football

together very well. One day, both of them decided to go try out at the Strikes Football Team.

Everyone there seems to be bigger and stronger than Aaron but he has a lot of confidence, so

he doesnt feel any pressure. Only Pedro who knows how good Aaron is so other people

misjudges him because of his size. When the tryout starts, he proofs everyone wrong. He

destroys everyone on the field just like when a teenager plays with a kid. His shot was

magnificent and his skill was wonderful. Everybody is surprised of what they see. After the

tryout, both Aaron and Pedro are on the team. Aaron is playing as a striker and Pedro is

playing as a midfielder.

Strike FT is in the Sunday youth football league of London. Aaron and Pedro will also play

for them every Sunday after the league start. They need to train with their team four times a

week so they dont have time to play like an ordinary kid. Even Aaron and Pedro have a great

skill but they never played football as a team. So, at first, they need a lot of time to practice

playing as a team. In a first league game against EL Football Academy, he doesn't get a pick

as a starting eleven but Pedro does. He is only a substitute for this match. When the game

start, Strike FT doesnt play very well even though they play at their ground. EL Football

Academy takes a lead in this match before the end of the first half. In the second half, Aaron

gets an opportunity to play in a striker position as a substitute. After Aaron was subbed, the

game of Strike FT seems to be better and better. Strike FT finally score an equalizing goal

from a midfielder in the last ten minutes. Both teams try to make an attempt at scoring a

winning goal. In the additional time of a second half, Aaron has a great chance of scoring a

goal assisted by his best friend Pedro. Suddenly, the defender of EL Football Academy make

a sliding tackle on Aaron and he falls down. Strike FT gets a penalty and Aaron is the one

who going to take it. He takes one deep breath and then he runs towards a ball to score a goal.

He shoots the ball, puts it in the back of the net and Strike FT wins the first game in the

league. Aaron becomes a hero of Strike FT in this match.

We did it!!! Aaron shouted and celebrate with his teammates.

Youre the best Aaron, said Pedro.

You too, Aaron replied. That pass is incredible!

Thanks, bro! said Pedro.

Great job both of you, a coach shouted.

Thanks, sir, said Aaron and Pedro.

After the first match ended, Aaron and Pedro start to play better and better with their team.

Aaron scores a lot of goals and Pedro makes a lot of assist in the league game. They become

the most dangerous duo in the league which every team aware of. Many youth professional

team are scouting them every match this duo plays including London F.C. Strike Football

Team is in a very good form and they are undefeated from thirty games they played. At last,

they won the league title with no loss and make a new history of the Sunday youth football

league of London. Aaron also gets the most valuable player award from this tournament.

Many contracts are offered to both Aaron and Pedro. Aaron is very surprised at what he sees

in front of him. Its a contract from London Football club his dream team. Aaron quickly

accepts the offer from London F.C. and Pedro also want to play on the same team as Aaron.

London F.C. invite them to their office to make an agreement and sign the contract. Aaron

and Pedro need to pass a medical check before signing the contract. Unluckily, Aaron isn't

passed the medical check because of his growth rate is too low. He cant get much higher

when he grows up. The only way he can increase his growth rate is by injecting hormones.

Injecting hormones is a very expensive way of treatment which hormones that needed in

Aarons case cost around 10,000 British Pound per inject and he needs it every two weeks.

London F.C. dont want to pay a lot of money for a thirteen years old kid which they dont

know that hell play well in the future or not. So, London F.C. pull Aarons offer off and sign

only Pedro.

This is your contract, Pedro, said a youth team coach. Your contract will be five years

long.

Sorry sir, If Aaron doesn't join the club then I dont want to, Pedro replied.

Hey wait for Pedro, you dont need to care about me, said Aaron Its a great chance for

you to play with a big team.

Playing football without best friend means nothing to me, bro, Pedro replied.

Hmm.., I see, said a coach. Actually, Im interested in both of you especially you Aaron.

Aaron. Both Aaron and Pedro joined the club and started to train with other teammates.

Everyone in the team has a great skill of playing football different from Strike Football Team

they used to play for. A coach sees that Pedro is having a very good skill at producing a goal

so he asks Pedro to play as a striker with Aaron. Coach knows that both of them have a

perfect combination when playing together and thats one of the reasons why Pedro is pushed

up to play as a striker. Aaron is the one who practices every day even though he has a day off.

It makes him improve very quickly and perform very well in the game. Pedro also practices

a lot more than others but not as much as Aaron.

Six years later, they are now 19 years old. Both of them are playing as a striker for an under

21 team together. One day, coach of the U21 team call Aaron and Pedro to his room to talk.

Hey Aaron, Why do you he called us? Pedro asked.

I dont know, we maybe get promoted to the senior squad, Aaron replied.

If that is true, I would be so happy mate, said Pedro.

Its not going to happen, bro, Our senior team have two world-class strikers and were not as

good as them, said Aaron.

Yeah, thats true, Pedro replied.

Both of them get into a coachs office.

Have a seat, said coach.

Why do you called us? Aaron asked.

Aaron and Pedro are shocked with an answer because Pedro just saying as a joke.

Really! Pedro shouted. Yes! Yes! Yes!

But why? Aaron asked.

Henrik Akinnagbe just got injured in the training this morning and he is out for 9 months,

said coach.

So, just only one of us will be promoted? Pedro asked.

No, both of you will play together up front in the next season, coach replied, Our team

just accept the 175 million pounds offer from Madrid Football Club for Eric Siobhan.

Today, Im quite disappointed with your form, said Rolando. We need to improve a lot.

Eric Siobhan is not with us from now and Henrik Akinnagbe is injured. I understand that its

hard but we have no choice. We cant play like this when the season starts.

sheet! Pedro shouted angrily.

one who has a ball. So, he decides to shoot by himself instead of passing to Pedro and its

saved by the goalkeeper.

You didnt pass to me at first, so why do I need to pass the ball to you? Aaron asked.

The game ended with no scores at all. They quarrel with each other all the time after the

match.

Aaron rejects all the contract that came in but not Pedro. Pedro accepts the contract from

Paris Football Club which gives him a lot of money even though there are a lot of a superstar

striker in Paris already. After everything is done, Pedro officially transfers to Paris F.C. with a

transfer fee of 105 million pounds.

After Aaron and Pedro were separated, both of them has a better form of playing. Aaron

scores a lot of goals and makes a lot of assist in the game, while Pedro doesnt have a chance

to play much but he seems to be happy with a life in Paris. A few months later, London F.C.

reach the semi-final round of European Champions Cup and they need to play against Madrid

Football Club a team that just bought their striker. Luckily, London F.C. just got Henrik

Akinnagbe back from injuries. When the match starts, its a very tough game for London F.C.

to play against one of the best team in the world. Henrik and Aaron play together very well

and finally, Aaron scores a winning goal, assisted by Henrik. London Football Club is now in

the final round of European Champions Cup and their opponent in the finals is Paris F.C.

Aaron and Pedro will finally play in the same field again but this time theyre rivals.

In the final round, it is the match that plays with honor and pressure. The sound fans are

cheering in the stadium is very loud. The players are waiting in the tunnel for the match to

start. Aaron and Pedro finally meet again in the tunnel.

I cant wait to see your face when I lift that trophy up, said Pedro.

Well see, said Aaron.

Both of the team are walking out the tunnel into a pitch and the match is going to start. The

referee blows the whistle to start the game. The game is very open, both teams are attacking

each other very aggressively. Its a London Football Clubs defender who misses and give an

easy chance to Paris F.C. to score the first goal by Pedro. Paris F.C. continue attacking

London F.C. more and more. Paris F.C. gets a ball possession of over 60 percent at the end of

the first half. Both Aaron and Henrik didnt have much chance to play an attacking game.

Luis Rolando comes up with a new tactic during the halftime. Rolandos tactic works very

well in the second half. London F.C. start to make more and more counter-attack which gives

them more attempt to score a goal but Pariss defender is playing at the best form. London

F.C. is unable to find a great chance to score a goal. Until the last minute of the game, Aaron

dribble passes 5 defenders and score a magnificent equalizer goal. The score is 1-1 at the end

of the game and it needs to decide the winner by penalty-shootout. Both Pedro and Aaron are

the fifth kickers. London F.C. and Paris F.C. both score every goal until the fifth one. Pedro is

the one who will take the penalty first. The fans remain silence, waiting for Pedro to take the

penalty. He runs towards a ball and shoots it to the top right corner but unluckily a ball hit the

post. London F.C. has a chance to win the game and this title. It now depends on Aaron. He is

a fifth taker. Aaron picks up a ball and walks to the penalty box. He puts a ball on the spot

and ready to take the penalty. He takes one deep breath and then he runs towards a ball to

score a goal. He shoots the ball, puts it in the back of the net and London F.C. fans go crazy.

London F.C. finally wins the European Champions Cup. Aaron walks toward Pedro to talk to

him.

become friends again but now theyre separated.

In the next day, Aaron wakes up and sees the news about himself.

Yesterday, London Football Club beat Paris Football Club and become a European

Champions Cup champions, said the newsreader. Move on to the next news, England

football team squad for world cup has been announced. Surprisingly, Aaron Clark, a hero

from yesterday game is also going to the world cup.

What? Aaron said to himself. I cant believe it, now my dream to play for the national

team become true.

After that, he trains more and more every day and continues to perform in a good form every

match. Hes now ready for the world cup and his new journey has begun.
