TAKE HOME SEMI-FINAL EXAM

for the Self Study Period

We are now entering the Semi-Final Period. As part of the output based, independent
learning, and student centered learning goals of the module, we shall be entering a self study
period with a minimum requirement in the form of INDIVIDUAL FILM CASE ANALYSIS PAPERS.
The goal of the film case analysis activity is to hone your personal abilities and your mastery of
being able to look at things through the sociological perspective. Given the time spent for studying
some of the pertinent theories on Society and Social Life, I expect that all of you will be able to
integrate sociological theories and concepts in everyday life activities. I have high hopes that you
will be able to come up with a good case review applying scholarly concepts and using technical
terms. The movie of your choice will be the basis for your TAKE HOME SEMI-FINAL EXAM. This
will be done individually.
