ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis : (1) pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based
Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran fisika
siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 banjar, (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based
Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas XI IPA SMA
Negeri 2 Banjar dan (3) pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap
keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalent postest only
control group. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar tahun
pelajaran 2015/2016. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling. Data
pemahaman konsep dan ketrampilan berfikir kritis dikumpulkan dengan tes dan dianalisis dengan
menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Ada pengaruh
model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan
berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (F = 32,56;
p<0,05), (2) Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap pemahaman
konsep dalam pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (F = 43,019; p<0,05,
(3) Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir
kritis dalam pembelajaran fisika siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (F = 37,14; p<0,05).
ABSTRACT
The research was aimed to analyze (1) the effect of Problem Based Learning to concept
comprehension and critical thinking skill on physics learning of XI IPA grade students of SMA
Negeri 2 Banjar (2) the effect of Problem Based Learning on physics learning of XI IPA grade
students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (3) the effect of Problem Based Learning to critical thinking skill
on physics learning of XI IPA grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The research was an
experimental study using the posttest-only control group design. The population was all students
in grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Banjar in academic year 2015/2016. Sampling was conducted
using random sampling technique. The data of concept comprehension and critical thinking skill
were collected using test and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and MANOVA. The
research showed that (1) there was an effect of Problem Based Learning model to concept
comprehension and critical thinking skill on physics learning of XI IPA grade students of SMA
Negeri 2 Banjar (F = 32.56; p<0.05), (2) there was an effect of Problem Based Learning model to
concept comprehension on physics learning of XI IPA grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (F
= 43.019, p <0.05). (3). there was an effect of Problem Based Learning model to critical thinking
skill on physics learning of XI IPA grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Banjar (F = 37.14; p<0.05).
